Whatever the organ designer intends, the joiner has to realize. This also applies
to many other parts involved in the manufacture of our organs. Building
the organ case ourselves is a basic requirement in realizing innovative
ideas. Our own manufacture guarantees high quality and precision,
which is a prerequisite for aesthetic demands generally.
Building the organ cases has a long tradition in our workshop. Cases up to a
height of 18m have been built. Various kinds of wood are selected
and finished using different kinds of lacquer, wax or natural oil.
In our own wood store will be found predominantly European wood trunks,
which will be stored for 5~8 years. Under the leadership of our master
joiner, 3 joiners are to be found working in this area. We only use
first class air-dried wood for the traditional joinery of frame and
panel. For special architectural demands, we also work with panel
and veneer, which is professionally handcrafted.
The organ scaffold, made of wood, is an integral part of the case. All junctions
may be disassembled, this also applies to the organ scaffold.
