From the very beginning, our organ design, as well as construction and drawing work, have been carried out in our workshop. Design is one of the characteristic expressions of an organ building company. We have been fortunate in having had many opportunities to work with notable architects and we always benefit from this cooperation. Projects such as the one for the Berlin Philharmonie or for the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Memorial Church or the many other ones in churches and concert halls through out Germany and abroad tell their own tales. Thus we have had opportunities to develop new ideas, to consider our own ideology and to adapt it under competent architectural direction.

Organ design has a sophisticated tradition in our house. Organ facades have often to be based on a space saving construction. We insist on retaining traditional methods while trying out and incorporating modern techniques adapted to satisfy the standards we set ourselves regarding organ building. We design our organs from a profound knowledge of the stylistic and architectural complexities that are involved depending on whether an organ is to be integrated into historical or modern surroundings.
